Law firm Stone King, which has an office in Bath, has appointed experienced corporate lawyer Miguel Pereira to its expanding business team.
Miguel, pictured, joins from London, Oxford and Cardiff firm Lewis Silkin, where he was a partner in the corporate team.
Although his main focus is in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate advice, Miguel, who is based in Stone King’s London office, has developed a particular expertise in Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) and partnership law. 
He has considerable experience advising professional and commercial partnerships from a wide range of sectors on their structure, constitutional arrangements and conversion to LLP status. He is also a fluent Spanish speaker and has acted for a number of Spanish clients in relation to their UK interests.
He is the latest legal specialist to join Stone King’s growing business team, which advises on a range of matters, from commercial property and dispute resolution to employment, HR and intellectual property law.
Stone King managing partner Steven Greenwood said: “Miguel is widely regarded as an expert on partnership law and LLPs and has spoken at conferences and written authoritative articles on this complex subject.”
Stone King employs more than 180 people, including 24 partners and 79 fee earners, across its offices in Bath, London and Cambridge.
