A scheduled visit to the region by Business Secretary Vince Cable next Wednesday has been postponed so he can attend Baroness Thatcher’s funeral.
Mr Cable was due to discuss the impact of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) with an invited audience of enterprise leaders at an event organised by the Institute of Directors (IoD) Bristol branch in partnership with Business West, the CBI and the FSB.
The event will take place at a later date.
