Bath firms of all sizes are being urged to take part in a scheme that aims to boost industry by creating work placements for skilled students in the city.

IKEEP – Intrapreneurial Knowledge Exchange Enterprise Pathway – is looking for local businesses and organisations of all sizes that would benefit from being matched up with student teams to remotely complete a project.

The project can be anything but needs to be specific and achievable in two to four weeks.

The students will work in teams of three for either two weeks full-time or four weeks part-time. There is no cost to the business.

The £2m IKEEP programme has been set up by the SETsquared incubator partnership and includes the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Surrey. It is part funded by the Office for Students.

The Bath IKEEP programme is led by the University of Bath SETsquared Innovation Centre’s student enterprise scheme and is available to all University of Bath undergraduates and postgraduates from any discipline.

The programme connects interdisciplinary and multi-institutional student teams with regional organisations to enable high-quality knowledge exchange, creating opportunities that will enable regional businesses to develop and grow while honing the talent of future graduates.

The students have all undergone recent online training in a range of business areas such as managing innovation, design methodology and project management and they are ready to be placed with companies like yours!
